WorkConnect Success Story

Akasha’s journey with WorkConnect began in January of 2024, after facing two months of unemployment. Despite her efforts in applying to various jobs and attending interviews, she found herself without any job opportunities. Meeting with a Job Developer, Akasha received personalized guidance tailored to her job targets. Through extensive interview preparation and mock interviews, Akasha gained invaluable insights and skills that surpassed any prior attempts at self-research.

Akasha successfully completed a Microsoft Excel course with an impressive passing grade of 86%. However, her greatest achievement came when she secured a job interview through a temp/staffing agency just two days after being connected. Within hours of completing the interview, Akasha received confirmation of her new job.

The position not only aligned with her career aspirations but also provided fulfillment and valuable learning experiences. Empowered by the support and expertise of the WorkConnect team, Akasha gained a newfound confidence in her job search efforts. Reflecting on her achievements, Akasha takes pride not only in securing employment but also in the personal growth and confidence she gained throughout the process.
